The demand for the physical therapy assistant is high and will continue to be high. There are several reasons for this.

An aging population will require the services of a physical therapy assistant more than ever.

The explosion of exercising as a way of maintaining health and positive attitude and mental balance means that there will be more exercise related injuries most of which are dealt with by the physical therapy assistant.

Unfortunately the continuation of war and especially the current wars mean a dire need for physical therapy assistants in the area of bionics and amputees.
